Junior Years
PAS believes that a strong early childhood foundation is paramount for the future success of students, not only academically but emotionally as well. The PAS junior years curriculum is divided into 03 sections; Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten. The Prospective students for Pre-School have to be 2.5 to 03 years old to be accepted into the Pre-School class.
A junior school is a place where students begin their learning process by way of play and fun. PAS uses activity and theme-based instructional model for early year’s education. PAS’s Junior Years Program aims to provide play-based activities in a friendly and stimulating environment, working in partnership with parents and the wider community. The junior school has spacious classrooms, play and learns equipment, playgrounds, library, art and music rooms. Classrooms are equipped with the latest audio and visual technologies.
Indoor Environment designed with Learning Areas:
Junior year classrooms are designed according to different learning areas with resources that involve our students and help them in exploring their interests. Learning areas such as
- Dramatic play
- Language and literacy
- Social Studies
- Science
- Math and Manipulative
- Art and Craft
- Building Blocks
- Reading Corner
These areas enable the children to play, draw, acquire new skills and are integrated with the main theme. Children develop a sense of achievement after attaining their targets such as building blocks, fixing the puzzles, performing in role plays or problem-solving activities. These activities improve socio-emotional skills as children learn to interact, share things, take turns, and participate in group activities. We provide a variety of manipulative and materials that children can use in creative ways. Our teachers integrate well-planned theme, finer motor, and literacy and numeracy practices into our daily learning areas.
