Co-Curricular Activities
Co-curricular activities offer PAS students an infinite array of opportunities to explore talents and interests. These activities are considered to be an integral part of school life and the key to the commitment to the academics, social and emotional well-being of PAS students.
PAS offers Co-Curricular activities which prepare students practically for the future while still being involved in after-school sports teams and art productions. If there is student interest in founding a new activity, it is easy to do so by securing a faculty advisor. The experience and educational life of PAS students is enhanced immeasurably by opportunities that take place outside the classroom, as well through visiting artists, assemblies, field trips, travel and exchange programs, community service, affiliations with outside organizations, and co-curricular activities. Enrichment activities are frequently generated by students or parents as well as faculty, staff and administrators.
PAS has planned a rich Co-Curricular program that reflects and supports the school's mission and core values. The Elementary & Middle Years each organize a mix of activities, clubs and sports that are age-appropriate and challenging. Sports & Co-Curricular activities allow students to apply what they have learned in the classroom, strengthen their skills in a particular activity or hobby, and explore new areas of interest.
