Elementary Years
PAS Elementary Years consist of Grade 1 to 4. This section of PAS is a place where students thrive academically, experience learning in a secure and continually evolving child-centered environment. At this level students develop more effective communication skills and actively participate in learning process. A very special curriculum has been designed for Elementary level students at PAS, which combines Technology as integral part of the whole study program. Involvement in co-curricular activities is encouraged in this stage and students too look forward to performing in their school’s activities and displaying their skills at the annual sports day or literary week. Elementary years aim to prepare strong base for students to enter into the Middle years program.
Assessments Criteria
All academic achievements are based on strong literacy and numeracy skills. The elementary school years hold vital importance in student’s life as they do not only learn essential concepts and mechanics but also develop learning skills that will set the stage for a lifetime of success. Our Elementary Curriculum consists of the compulsory subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, Religious Education, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Social Studies, Science, Art, Music, Physical Education.
Students develop critical thinking through project based learning. Students are involved in various learning activities that enable them to explore and discover what they have learnt. They develop strong comprehension, reading, writing and creative skills. Our textbooks are integrated with audio visual aids to provide students with enriching learning experiences. Before the Mid-year Examinations and Final Examinations we offer after school remedial classes to the students for the reinforcement and preparation of their assessments.

Attainment/ Targets
Students of elementary school are exposed to a fully developed environment. They continue to learn more complex concepts in the basic subjects English, Maths, Urdu along with ICT, Islamiat, and Social Sciences. They should be able to understand advanced concepts in literacy and numeracy.
