It is my pleasure to be the new principal of the Premier American School (PAS), a project of AISS. I have recently relocated to Lahore to take on this privilege and assignment. My experience in the education field is quite varied. I began my education training at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. I completed my training, achieving my Bachelor’s degree in New York, USA, at Long Island University-CW Post. From there, I began my career in education in the New York/Long Island region of the United States.
I have had a variety of experiences in the Education field over the past fifteen years, instructing students from Kindergarten to senior grades in a variety of subjects. Though the majority of my time has been as an English teacher, I have also lead classrooms in Math and Science, History, Geography, and Art History.
Later I moved to Florida, USA, where I pursued my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership/School Administration. I was graduated at the top of my class from National-Louis University. Upon graduation, I began to take on leadership roles in schools. In addition to my regular teaching and school leadership assignments, I taught TOFEL classes to adults who had immigrated to the US, from all over the world.
I am so very excited to be a part of what PAS is doing here in the beautiful city of Lahore. We are offering education to a diverse population of students which reflects the varied backgrounds and experiences of our very talented, and skilled teaching staff. We offer an “American” style of curriculum up to and including the 8th grade, where we develop the whole student as a person. Identifying his/her unique gifts and talents, and using a variety of teaching methodologies to ensure proper assimilation of the material. We maintain a high level of accountability from our staff to ensure that our students receive the highest quality of service to their educational needs.
Beyond the 8th grade, we offer a variety of “O Level”, as well as “American High School” course structures, to ensure that our students have the greatest number of options beyond graduation, whether they choose to remain in Pakistan or study abroad. Of course, none of this would be possible without regular staff development, which is offered through the more experienced staff members of our campus and our partnership with Rowan University New Jersey, USA. As my time with PAS continues you have my commitment to seek more university partnerships, as we strive for excellence and service to the community.
At PAS we value the relationships we build with our students and our parents. We invite you to visit our campus, to witness the great achievements we are making. If you are not already, become a part of our wonderful campus, and our grand vision: building relationships for now, and for the future between Pakistan and the United States.
